Now is your opportunity to help grow Division 3 Men and Coed water volleyball
The D3 Men/Coed WVB Program is looking to fill three board positions and one lead evaluator position for an effective start date of Mayst . The board will have a maximum of one woman member. The lead evaluator can be male or female.
As part of the divisional realignment, the new D3 Men/Coed board will now consist of 1 Ambassador (aka: Chair) and 2 Board Members and players will also elect an Evaluation Chair (aka: Lead Evaluator).
The Ambassador will be determined by the individual who receives the highest percentage of votes and will serve a two year term. Each Board Member will serve a one year term. The Evaluation Chair (aka: Lead Evaluator) will also serve a two year term. Please see Evaluation Chair and Peer Evaluation Duties for details about the duties and responsibilities of the Evaluation Chair.
Qualifications
Candidates for a board or evaluator position must:
be a D3 rated player for a minimum of six consecutive months
regularly participate in D3 play
not have any Code of Conduct violations within the last two years
be “all-in” as pertaining to the purpose, policies, and procedures of the D3 WVB program, and actively
contribute to the overall good of the program
adhere to the requirements and responsibilities as defined within the attached duty sheets
Voting
Both men and women can run for each position available.
Candidates can submit a nomination form for both a board position and lead evaluator position if
interested. Elections for board positions will be held first, followed by the lead evaluator position.
All current D3 players will be provided the ability to vote for three board members and one lead evaluator
from the list of nominees.
Election Schedule
March 24 th – April 7 th (5:00pm cutoff): Nomination forms for board member/lead evaluator positions accepted
April 10 th – April 17 th (5:00pm cutoff): Voting for Ambassador/Board Members
April 20 th – April 27 th (5:00pm cutoff): Voting for Evaluation Chair
Note: Voting will be done via SurveyMars and results will be shared once all nominees are contacted.
