Lead Evaluator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the work and performance of evaluators, training them on D4 policies, standards and expectations, as needed

• Maintain the master D4 ratings spreadsheet the reflects everyone's last evaluation date, updating as needed

• Conduct evaluations on D4 players for the ongoing D4 evaluation program, as needed

• Conduct evaluations at first-time tryouts for new players, as needed

• Coordinate coverage/assignments of evaluators to D4 divisional play sessions and first-time tryouts for new players

  • Assign evaluators to first-time tryouts for new players

  • Obtain all evaluation results from each assigned evaluator for all evaluations conducted

    • Compile evaluation results by evaluator, by D4 player, by rating category for database submission and future feedback to the player

• Coordinate required activities/actions with your peer D3 and D5 Lead evaluators

• Receive/coordinate requests from D4 players wishing consideration for a D3 Visitor pass

  • Schedule two separate D4 evaluation sessions for the requesting player by D4 evaluators at each session

    • Review results from those evaluations to determine if the player meets the minimum rating score

    • Compile evaluation results by evaluator, by player, by rating category for database submission and future feedback to the player

    • Make a final determination whether or not to grant a D3 Visitor pass to the player after thorough consultation with the other evaluators involved

• Receive/coordinate requests from the D5 Lead evaluator

  • Grant D4 Visitor pass status to the D5 affected players identified by the D5 Lead evaluator

  • Coordinate the availability of D4 evaluators to evaluate each D4 Visitor pass recipient for at least two separate D4 divisional play sessions

    • Review results from those evaluations to determine if the player meets the minimum rating score

    • Make a final determination whether or not to grant D4 Approved Guest status to the player after thorough consultation with the other evaluators involved

      • If the player does not receive D4 Approved Guest status, advise the player of the determination and results for the decision

        • Notify the D5 Lead evaluator that the player did not receive approval for a D4 Approved Guest pass and they are being returned to D5 for further training

      • If the player receives D4 Approved Guest status schedule additional evaluations of that player for up to 30 days

        • Anytime during that period of up to 30 days a final determination may be made to grant full D4 status to the player after thorough consultation with the other evaluators involved, advise the player of the determination and results for the decision

          • Compile evaluation results by evaluator, by player, by rating category for database submission and future feedback to the player

        • Anytime during that period of up to 30 days a final determination may be made to not grant full D4 status to the player after thorough consultation with the other evaluators involved

          • Advise the player of the determination and results for the decision

          • Notify the D5 Lead evaluator that the player did not receive approval for full D4 status and they are being returned to D5 for further training

Regular D4 Evaluator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate players and visitors in accordance with the evaluation procedures

• Work with players to improve their skills

• Work with all players to follow the system of play

• Participate in the Villages evaluation process for new players

• Comply with all instructions from the Lead Evaluator

• Submit evaluation results to the Lead Evaluator by evaluated player, by rating category for database submission and future feedback to the player
